How We Maintain Hygiene and Safety at Wisdom Dental Clinics

A clean clinic matters. Wisdom Dental Clinics describes daily hygiene routines at its Vidhyadhar Nagar and Janta Colony centres in Jaipur, alongside instrument sterilization and scheduled weekly fumigation.

Our team's hygiene precautions

Clinical staff use appropriate scrubs, masks, gloves and head caps for each procedure, with hand hygiene before and after patient contact. Gloves do not replace proper hand cleaning.

Reception and patient arrival

Waiting areas are kept organized. Patients may be offered shoe covers and head caps where appropriate, and hand sanitizer is available.

How reusable instruments are sterilized

Used instruments are handled safely, cleaned of visible debris, checked, packed in suitable sterilization pouches and processed in an autoclave using the appropriate monitored cycle.

Opening sterile instruments

Staff check each pouch before use and open it when needed. A wet, torn or damaged pouch should not be used.

Cleaning dental chairs and equipment

Between patients, treatment chairs and frequently touched surfaces are cleaned and disinfected with suitable products, barriers are replaced, and clinical waste is handled appropriately.

Weekly fumigation at both centres

Fumigation is scheduled once a week at both the Vidhyadhar Nagar and Janta Colony centres. It is an additional environmental measure, not a replacement for routine cleaning, surface disinfection, hand hygiene or instrument sterilization.

Patient safety is a team effort

From the reception desk to clinical treatment areas, staff contribute to a clean and comfortable patient environment.

Frequently asked questions

Is wiping a dental chair the same as sterilizing instruments? No. Chairs require surface disinfection while reusable instruments need appropriate cleaning and sterilization.

Are gloves enough? No. Proper hand hygiene, instrument processing and surface cleaning are also essential.

How often is fumigation carried out? Weekly at both Jaipur centres, according to the clinic's described schedule.
